Co-curated by Mary Rubio (University Professor Emeritus and Montgomery biographer),
the exhibit which will be hosted by the Macdonald Stewart Art Centre in Guelph, from
October 24th, 2008 to January 2009, will highlight the life and work of Canada's most
successful author through a variety of artifacts and images from the University of
Guelph Library's archival collections.

The 165-hectare Arboretum, which once consisted largely of fields used for test plots for
Ontario Agricultural College students and faculty, is now home to a 17,947 plant collection,
wetlands, nature trails and a memorial forest. Enjoy a nature walk along one of many trails.

Visitors will be in the heart of the fascinating heritage and locale of the Mennonite community of St. Jacobs. Originally called "Jakobstettel" (little town of many Jacobs') by the Pennsylvania Dutch settlers, this village is the home to many artisans and their studios, among many other interesting attractions.
