2008 marks the 100th anniversary of the publication of Anne of Green Gables by Canada’s beloved author, Lucy Maud Montgomery. Montgomery spent most of her life writing books and making her home in Ontario.

Four Ontario communities - Guelph, Norval, Toronto, Leaskdale, and Bala, all with direct links to L.M. Montgomery, are celebrating the author and her life with a variety of events, exhibits, and festivals.
